August 2, 2026 — The letter
- The front page is now literally a letter: every Friday, Hank writes "Dear Gwinnett," on a white sheet — the week's permits told in plain English, signed by hand.
- The week's full permit table moved to its own page — "The full record" — linked from every letter, with every permit number linking to the county's original document.
- Past letters now live at /letters, organized by month. Issue numbers are gone; letters go by their dates.
- Meet the desk at /desk, and get the letter by email every Friday at /subscribe.
- A whole new look: quieter, neutral, typewritten — with a hand-dithered typewriter on the letterhead.
