Gwinnett County building permits — week of April 20–24, 2026

Fortune-Johnson filed five apartment buildings at 205 Alcovy Industrial Boulevard in Dacula, all under one name, University Parkway Crossing. The biggest of the five is $15,593,456 on its own. Together they account for more than two thirds of every dollar permitted in the county this week.
The same address pulled fourteen more permits for retaining walls, from $6,293 up to $69,485, all of them filed by Timber Ridge Contractors. Between the buildings and the walls, one site in Dacula is most of what happened.
Elsewhere, Old Navy is putting $864,740 into an interior at 3675 Satellite Boulevard in Duluth. Chipotle filed for a whole new building on Old Peachtree Road in Suwanee at $464,384. Costco filed a $25,000 retaining wall in Stone Mountain, and Boot Barn filed $15,000 on Mall of Georgia Boulevard for racking and nothing else.
The houses were quieter. DRB Group filed six at Northcroft in Loganville, spread over Woody Way, Bartlett Pear Lane and Dohrn Drive, running $676,803 to $751,659. Fabri Constructors filed two on Sunny Hill Road in Lawrenceville at $1,072,005 each, both of them 5,203 square feet. The week totals $81.3M. Take Dacula out of it and it was an ordinary week, which you can see for yourself in the county's file.
