Gwinnett County building permits — week of April 27 – May 1, 2026

The biggest permit in the county this week is a house. It is going up on Cypress Pond Pass in Duluth, 9,741 square feet, $2,070,147, filed by Highland Custom Homes. Nothing on the commercial side came within half of it.
Oakbrook Parkway in Norcross had a run of it. Bank of America filed $863,609 for an interior at number 5125. At 6110, a place called BBQ Chicken filed $400,000 and Say Kitchen filed $220,000. There is a $152,500 spec space at 5835 and a QuikTrip permit down at 5095. Five permits, one street.
The houses came in batches, the way they do. Pulte filed four at Haverhill Estates in Dacula, from $722,202 to $821,619. Richardson Housing Group filed six townhouses on Fern River Bend in Norcross, all of them just under $390,000. Taylor Morrison filed five on Wayburn Street in Tucker, every one $398,675 and 1,997 square feet.
The rest is water heaters, panel upgrades, a Tesla wall connector and a good deal of heating and air. It adds up to $25.2M with no one project holding the week up. The county puts the whole list out, and this is a week you could read the whole thing.
