Gwinnett County building permits — week of March 23–27, 2026
Dear Gwinnett,
A mosque is going up on Centerville Highway in Snellville. Darul Huda Masjid, $8,398,815, and it is a complete building rather than a fit out of something already standing. Blackwater Construction is on the permit. It is the biggest thing filed in the county this week by a good margin.
Past that it was a townhouse week. Lennar filed sixteen of them on Humdala Place in Buford, all in Towns at Ivy Creek. CCG Constructors filed twelve on Underwood Drive in Lawrenceville, and every one of the twelve is priced at $374,407, right down to the dollar. Stanley Martin filed eight more on Beacon Bend Crossing, also Lawrenceville, also identical to each other at $406,374.
Two commercial buildings are worth a line. Koala Mart is putting up a $3,000,000 building at 300 Old Peachtree Road in Suwanee, filed under the category the county uses for restaurants and shopping centers, and the record says nothing more specific than that. At 3535 Sugarloaf Parkway in Lawrenceville, Parkland Homebuilders filed building D1 of Sugarloaf Crest, ten apartments, $1,889,766.
That comes to 201 permits and about $54.5M. The remainder is single family houses out in Loganville and Dacula and the usual steady run of water heaters. Have a look through it yourself if you want the whole picture.
See you Friday,
