Gwinnett County building permits — week of September 8–11, 2026

A builder called MSP Construction filed eighteen permits this week, every one of them for the same address: 1355 Lawrenceville Highway. It is an apartment complex. Five buildings, 362 units between them, and the two largest are $19,859,765 each. Around them go eight parking garages at $151,994 apiece, a leasing office at $1,911,362, an amenity building with a gymnasium and a game room, a maintenance building, and two trash enclosures. The filing calls the whole thing Lawrenceville Mixed-Use. It is also most of the week's money. Commercial permits came to $76,699,359 out of a county total of $92,874,880, and the bulk of that is this one address.
Loganville has apartments coming too, at 1000 Athens Highway, five buildings numbered 200 through 600 and filed as Enclave at Rosebud. The county lists no cost for any of the five. No unit count either. Just the address, the building number, and the code for an apartment of five units or more. If you want to know what is going up there, this week's record will not tell you.
Twenty-seven new houses were permitted. Six of them are DRB Group's in Everson Woods in Snellville, on Mashie Road and Niblick Green Loop, the largest at $751,658 on 3052 Mashie Road. In Loganville, AMH Development filed four in a row on Carnelian Lane, at 1225, 1235, 1245 and 1255, and the costs arrive in pairs: $425,621 twice and $453,572 twice. Two house plans, each one built twice, four lots side by side. CCG Constructors did the same in Sierra Brooke in Lawrenceville, filing $510,143 twice.
The biggest thing this week that is not housing is $3,394,094 at 4240 International Boulevard in Norcross, filed as World Emblem Distribution Center. Also in Norcross, Vulcan Materials pulled two permits at its Beaver Ruin Road quarry for conveyors, $717,572 and $629,972, which the filing describes as rock quarry structures. And at 3130 Financial Center Way in Buford, one project filed eleven separate permits for modular retaining walls, the largest $626,850. Eleven permits, one address, one week.
