Gwinnett County building permits — week of September 21–25, 2026

A gym is going into suite 105B at 4051 Stone Mountain Highway in Lilburn. Crunch Fitness, $1,600,000, filed as an interior finish by Tripoint Build. That is the most expensive permit the county issued all week, and nothing else on the commercial side is close. Second place is a re-roof, $561,455 for the building at 1700 Belle Meade Court in Lawrenceville, filed by Sta-Dry Roofing. Adidas is third, $550,000 to fit out suite 146 at 5900 Sugarloaf Parkway, also in Lawrenceville.
Fifty-one new homes were permitted, and a lot of them came in matched sets. Eight are townhouses in one unbroken run on Beacon Bend Crossing in Lawrenceville, 3002 through 3016, even numbers only, all filed by Stanley Martin Homes at Beacon at Old Peachtree on consecutive permit numbers. They range from 1,962 to 1,995 square feet and from $399,010.08 to $404,533.29. In Dacula, KM Homes filed three houses at Stables at Ewing Chapel, one on Smarty Jones Drive and two on Silver Charms Court, each 3,994 square feet and each costed at $794,840.13. Same house, same price, down to the cent. DRB Group Georgia filed sixteen houses by itself, split between Everson Woods and Everson Pointe in Snellville, Hamilton Lakes in Lawrenceville and Northcroft in Loganville.
The most expensive house of the week is 3976 Ridge Road in Buford, $1,250,421.27 from Tipton Home Builders for 4,152 heated square feet. The largest is also in Buford, 6,292 square feet at 3875 South Bogan Road for $1,247,408.21. The filing gives that one no project name at all, just the word ACREAGE.
Retaining walls had a busy week. Wall Technologies pulled five separate permits at 2449 Duluth Highway, all for modular retaining walls under the name McDaniel Preserve, the largest of them $300,000. Three more retaining wall permits came in at 4300 Pleasantdale Road in Doraville for Pleasantdale Exchange, the biggest $542,750. The county itself filed $200,000 of pickleball at Bethesda Park on Bethesda Church Road, logged, for whatever reason, as an electrical permit. Of the 185 filings, 48 were homeowners replacing a water heater or an air conditioner through the online system. All 185 are on the record page if you want to read down the list yourself.
