Gwinnett County building permits — week of May 25–29, 2026
Dear Gwinnett,
Big week. The county filed 161 permits — $69M worth of construction across 13 cities.
Oxford Properties pulled a $11M permit for Duluth Commons Apartments off Duluth Hwy 3000, Lawrenceville. That's the biggest of 8 permits filed here this week, about $32M across the project — a sign the whole site is moving at once.
The rest of the week spread out the way Gwinnett usually does: 90 residential filings (65 of them brand-new builds) and 34 commercial. Oxford Properties was the busiest name on the stack.
If you only look at one thing this week, make it the full record — all 161 filings, laid out plain. The county tells you everything; you just have to read it.
See you Friday,
P.S. — Also this week: Duluth Highway in Lawrenceville ($7.1M), Vulcan Materials - Multiple Aggregate in Norcross ($2.0M), and Amazon Uga4 in Duluth ($1.6M).
P.P.S. — 13 cities filed this week; Lawrenceville led the stack.
