Gwinnett County building permits — week of May 18–22, 2026

Billy Gray Contracting pulled twenty four deck permits in a single week, every one of them on Tulip Poplar Way in Lawrenceville, every one at the Arbors at Sugarloaf condos, and every one priced at exactly $4,309. Buildings 24 through 27, unit by unit, straight down the street.
Out on West Park Place Boulevard in Stone Mountain, a Chick-fil-A is going up in pieces. WH Bass filed five separate permits for it. $990,490 for the restaurant itself, $275,185 for the order point and delivery canopy, $50,000 for the patio, then a refuse enclosure and the site lighting on top of that. Over on Stone Mountain Highway, Caribou Coffee filed a $330,000 addition and an Applebee's filed $223,930 of interior work.
The most expensive permit of the week was a house. $1.2M on Camp Branch Road in Buford, 6,590 square feet of heated space, filed by Fabri Constructors. In Loganville, Langley Overlook got four houses on Donovan Circle at $376,080 apiece plus a $252,847 pool house to go with them. Taylor Morrison filed five in Watson Park over in Snellville, four of those on Cash Valley Court alone.
A few other things. Marshalls is doing $398,738 of interior work on Satellite Boulevard in Duluth, and the county school system filed $300,000 each at Richards Middle School in Lawrenceville and Radloff Middle School in Duluth. That is 196 permits this week, and every one of them is listed below.
