Gwinnett County building permits — week of May 11–15, 2026
Dear Gwinnett,
Somebody is putting up a new animal housing building on Taylor Lane in Lawrenceville. It runs $1.7M, Genoa Construction filed it, and the permit says it comes with exterior animal runs and a compound. The project is listed as ENRPC. That is the whole of what the county tells you about it.
Two apartment buildings got permits out on Sugarloaf Parkway, both at 3535, ten units each and about $1.9M apiece. Parkland Homebuilders filed both. In Norcross, one electrician pulled eighteen separate permits in a single week for Grove Point Apartments on Jimmy Carter Boulevard, most of them for five hundred or a thousand dollars a piece. Same complex, eighteen filings.
The rest was houses. KM Homes filed four in the Stables at Ewing Chapel in Dacula, on Smarty Jones Drive and Funny Cide Circle. Crofton Place in Snellville got five. Parkside at Grayson got five more. And four townhomes came in at Towns at Ivy Creek in Buford, numbered 3082 through 3088 Humdala Place, four doors in a row.
Smaller things worth knowing about: a Chick-fil-A on Stone Mountain Highway in Snellville filed a $650,000 interior finish, Stone Mountain Kia is doing an auto sales and repair shop on the same highway over in Lilburn, and the Element Marriott on Satellite Boulevard is putting in a swimming pool.
