Gwinnett County building permits — week of June 8–12, 2026

Somebody is building a boardwalk. It runs $1,463,525, it is on Clean Water Drive in Buford, and the permit calls it the Ivy Creek Greenway Boardwalk. Steele and Associates filed it. That is a lot of money for a walkway, and it is the kind of thing you will actually be able to stand on when it is done.
QuikTrip had a week. Four of its stores pulled permits: a $215,000 remodel on Singleton Road in Norcross, another $215,000 remodel on South Norcross Tucker Road in Tucker, $125,000 of interior work on Old Peachtree Road in Lawrenceville, and $125,000 on Pleasant Hill Road in Duluth, that last one described as a convenience gas station store. A Dunkin also filed $383,189 for a complete building on Lawrenceville Suwanee Road.
The single most expensive permit this week was a house, not the boardwalk. $1.72M on Old Peachtree Road in Duluth, 6,121 square feet of heated space. The rest of the houses came in batches. DRB Group filed eight at Langley Overlook in Loganville, all on Donovan Circle, all priced at exactly $376,080. Taylor Morrison filed eight at Rosewood Farms in Lawrenceville, walking backwards down Wilder Ridge Way from 104 to 90. Meritage filed five in a row on Brooks Lake Drive in Loganville.
A few more: the Meliora School on Dogwood Road in Snellville filed $300,000 of interior work, Metro Green Recycling is spending $1.17M on an expansion off Pleasantdale Road, and a Verizon tower on Grayson New Hope Road is getting $90,000 of work. All 202 permits are listed below.
