The biggest thing filed this week is a temple. The Hui Tz Temple Memorial Hall on Satellite Boulevard in Suwanee, $2,952,045, 10,638 square feet of heated space, filed as a complete building. The county files it under a category that reads church, monastery, Sunday school, temple.
Second biggest is a bakery, and I mean that literally. $1.6M of interior work at a place on Best Friend Road in Norcross, filed by A1 Construction Group. Under description the county wrote one word: Bakery. Also on the commercial side, the clubhouse at University Parkway Crossing in Dacula came in at $569,784.
Meritage Homes spent the week inside one subdivision. Fifteen houses at Martin Springs in Lawrenceville, spread across three streets: six on Firefly Field Trace, three on Martin Spring Bend, six on Quiet Grove Lane. Beazer filed six townhomes at Town Village at Suwanee Dam in Buford, 341 through 351 Sunset Hollow Street, every single one priced at $488,720. ResiBuilt filed five on Leraes Way in Loganville. The most expensive house of the lot was a Toll Brothers place on Emberstone Circle in Lawrenceville at $1.48M.
